I just found out Nokia phones were actually designed by an Italian American guy called Frank Nuovo. Literally no one in Finland or anywhere else for that matter knows this and thinks Finns did everything.
But it's finnish design philosophy, no? Kind of a Soviet ruggedness and simplicity but high quality, like the valmet rifle
