What's it like being monolingual? Genuine question is there a difference in how you see the world if you speak just one?

Knowing a second language lets you understand your first language better. The farther it is from your first language, the more you understand that every language in the world is arbitrary and there's no "right" way of saying something. Contrast this with monolingual retards who seethe at grammatical constructions that aren't present in their languages.
>English/non-IE/non-semitic speakers seething at grammatical gender
>West Romance/English speakers seething at cases
>analytic language speakers (including English) seething at morphology (eg conjugation)
>agglutinative language speakers seething at auxiliary particles such as prepositions, auxiliary verbs etc (Finns, Turks, Hungarians)
>Slavic speakers seething at articles

Despite write here, I consider as monolingual.
My English is too weak to be considered as something which works especially when speaking.
And I feel normal.
French internet is filled as anglo, maybe that's why. You can live without knowing English here.

One thing the monolinguals have though is just knowing the word for things instantly because a single word is tied to a single thing to them. I guess that also ties into your point, where multilinguals could see the world as a kind of collection of concepts more clearly and see more nuance in that sense

They don't necessarily. Heidegger said something along the lines of "Britishers invented continental philosophy because they cannot understand their own mongrel language and what the roots of each word mean".

It's weird to think that I hardly remember what it's like to think with a monolingual brain, because I've been bilingual since I was a teenager.

That was real? I saw video that i thought it was bullshit
