Do you own your home iyc?
Living with your mom til 30 apparently counts as home ownership
I'm in the process of buying my own home so soonfuck renting
>>217151107i live alone, but the apartment is on my parents' name. although it is effectively mine
>>217151107my parents sold the home they willed onto me
>>217151107
>>217151384why do nordoids hate their families so much?
>>217151107This is a map of how many people live with their parents>>217151384>25-34Jesus imagine the figures if it included 20-24
>>217151107yeah
>>217151107I'm rentingIf i take out a home loan i will end up paying the price of an additional house in interest aloneNot that i can afford a standard down payment anyway
>>217151415>why do nordoids hate their families so much?We don't. That's just cope from people who live with their parents long into adulthood. We move out early mainly for education. Universities in Sweden are located in a limited amount of locations, uni-towns like Lund etc. The majority of people do not live near them growing up. So unless you're gonna be a blue collar worker, you have to move to attend one. Also rent is extremely cheap in Sweden compared to the rest of Europe thanks to government caps. My 47m2 apartment is €489/month here in Uppsala.
>>217151107Nope. No point in owning a home for me being a single dude who has lived in the same apartment since 2010 and have no plans on moving.
>>217151107I did for a few years but I sold it last year and now I'm renting again. My rent is cheaper than the monthly housing association fee was...
>>217152273>no plans on movingThis is exactly a reason to own a house though. If you never move you can realistically pay off your debt and live cheap plus have equity in your house. If you move often it's a lot easier to rent.
>>217151384>the balkanstruly we are inferior kill us all
>>217151107A lot of those eastern counties just can't afford to rent whatsoever so there are few rented homes and lots of multigeneration family homes
>>217152635>and lots of multigeneration family homeshow is that bad tho
>>217151384pooooland is africa tier
>>217151107My country is fucked
>>217152548Except I have no interest in a house and buying an apartment here means paying a fairly high monthly fee like >>217152388 said. So not only do you end up spending a fortune on the actual purchase, you're basically paying rent on it as well. Even if you pay off your mortgage completely, you'll be paying the fee for as long as you own it.
>>217152787And you don't actually own the apartment. You just bought the rights to live in it and a membership.
>>217151107Take the thirdie pill.
I'll inherit my parents house. I will not spend my life in a wage cage. Have only worked about 20 hours a week for 12 months out of my 29.5 years of life.
>>217151107eastern europeans are doing so well, i think the ratio of costs of living and salary is the best there, i constantly hear about westerners complaining about extreme prices like paying a million dollars to buy a shack in california but i dont hear it in eastern europe at all but i hear the contrary that the salaries are great while costs are cheap
>>217151107yes.who else would own it?
