Is divinity original sin 2 any good
>>
it's pretty good but larian's writing is always kinda fucking weird and all of the characters are like dysfunctional tsudere misfits

bg3 is a lot better but DOS2 gave them the opportunity to make it so yeah it's pretty good

I actually enjoyed DOS2 more than BG3 overall I'd say.
Still love them both.

Personally I like the AP system of DOS2 better than the separate movement/spell slot stuff in Baldur's Gate 3. It feels more like a video game and less like a clunky translation of a tabletop game mechanics to a virtual format (which I guess is the point of CRPGs, but I don't care). You can experiment a lot more with fun builds in DOS2 than BG3 as well. The elemental surface mechanic is kinda just a gimmick but it's still fun.
Story/character wise BG3 shits on DOS2 hard but they're both very good games.
