Brazilian filmmakers are subhumans who love, indeed they worship poverty, violence and social distintegration, and the worst ones are the ones who get the most funding, and thus 80% of what foreign audiences know about Brazil is basically Rio de Janeiro (or Amazon). Even poor, middle-of-nowhere Brazilian cities look better than favelas.Favelas look the way they do because millions of poor people who couldn't make it in the countryside and little towns moved to big cities which were incapable of handling such a high increase in population.
