>>217180906I live in Toronto. I have a bachelor's degree in finance and passed my CFA level 1. I did a post graduate certificate in advanced accounting at university of Toronto. I found a job pretty easily. It's one of those fields that may not be super lucrative with lower end positions but there are always jobs. a lot of smaller businesses will hire people with no post secondary education at all. I'm surprised at how low it is compared to American cities, it must be super easy to get work there.Also people say that AI is taking over the industry but if anything I would say the main issue is outsourcing. The amount of staff accountant and a/p jobs that would go to new grads are now going to people in India and the Philippines
