The problem is they're the dumb and lazy type because honest women would get a job and not expect to get rich spreading their legs. So they often get beaten up for being lazy, sometimes the husband is a pushover and they get to stay long enough, then divorce immediately upon getting permanent residence or whatever. Often times these stayers have a sidepiece from their origin country.
