This can have one very practical outcome. Marriage is a religious ceremony and as we all know Christianity doesn't allow for homosexuality. There's no reasons to grant tax breaks for marriage there's no kids, even in non-religious civil unions. So if the Christian churches themselves don't say gay marriage is illegal they're not following their own laws and everyone is just playing Simon Says. That reduces them to something between an MLM and an NGO, if they can't uphold their own rules they should wholesale be dismantled it's a fucking MLM that can lobby this is nightmare fuel to think anyone tolerated these people.
