>>217199393My dad's dad was a navy landing craft operator in the Pacific; he drove landing boats into Jap beach assaults. He got a purple heart after he got shot by an American that told him to turn the boat around kek. His wife's dad (my great grandpa) was a cavalry officer in WW1. He was awarded the bronze star for doing something kino but I don't know what. My mom's dad was too young for WW2 but was military police in occupied Japan during the Korean war. He was a dirt poor racist farmer from deep East Texas but he had immense respect for Japs and Koreans. He hated the Chinese until he died.
