What's the quickest/easiest way to learn an East Asian language without living there and which one?
SE Asia included except Malaysia and The Philippines.

Study Japanese and just watch anime without subtitles, after that just play VRchat on a Japanese server. Literally that easy and pretty much the exact thing I did when learning German, except with German kinos instead of anime anyway

Germany have kinos?

>Germany have kinos?
Lol, no. I mean, Germany has very decent actors and actresses but if we're referring to the movies themselves (cinematography, writing, fx, etc) then no. Most are literally soap opera tier even when they're supposedly high budget.

That actually sounds like pretty good advice.
You think playing it at 0.5x or 0.75x speed might help or no?
I kind of wanted to move to CHYNA and just visit Japan on vacations to entirely escape American influence but Mandarin feels like a harder language to learn.

Uhhhh sign up for a irl language course at a school/college? Having an actual teacher who can give you actual face to face feedback is a great help in learning a language.
