US media peaked in the 90s, they release like one good show every 5-10 years now. I'm sure there's a few good dramas on Netflix, but it's not worth weeding through the chaff to find them. The Internet killed music, couldn't imagine listening to mainstream artists when indie ones have outpaced them by now.
