Its day here so further east is night, if he were from Moscow or somewhere close it woulda been day.
Generally people who live in colder climates drink more.

Kirin classic lager is great, but it is seldom found in stores. Kirin ichiban shibori kinda sucks tho.

Right now? Water.
>What are some alcoholic beverages that are specific to your country?
Many regions in Germany have their "own stem beers". Tbh many taste similar but overall they are good. I'm from the broader Kölsch region and here Päffgen takes the cake - but since it isn't pasteurized it is only sold in barrels to bars and restaurants. But you can drive to the brewery and buy a barrel there.

Wtf is that beer coaster? Do you take it with you everywhere? Why so many markings?
Kolsch is nice, i like tried Gaffel and Fruh, i tried over 200 beers from different German brewers, wanna try them all eventually, there are around 1000 traditional German brewers that i have to try.
>How was it?
Cereal taste, very malty, slightly sweet, could drink it the whole day long, very clean and easy to drink beer.

>Why so many markings?
Those are the individual beers. Since most Kölsch are served in rather small glasses (0,2l) it makes more sense to "collect" the amount you have drunk and pay in bulk once you are finished.
And this practice is common in all of Germany I would say.
>Kolsch is nice, i like tried Gaffel and Fruh
Try Schreckenskammer and Päffgen next time you are in the region or get the chance to. Since Schreckenskammer is also sold in bottles there is a likelihood that it is exported.
>Cereal taste, very malty, slightly sweet
Seems good. I have to visit my dedicated beer store and look for it.

Oh yeah. I actually remember an episode from Anthony's Bourdain show when he went to Koln and explained Kolsch and the local cuisine.
But still.... Thats alot of markings. You had like 10 liters of kolsch wtf.
>Try Schreckenskammer and Päffgen next time you are in the region or get the chance to.
Absolutely will. Wish i could find them here tho.

Opened a new one. This one is made in a Belgian monastery. Beautiful amber colour, clean, smooth, slightly sweet taste, subtle notes of spices, perfectly balanced.
Gives a nice warm and fuzzy feeling as when you get under a warm blanket on a cold winter day.
Getting seriously drunk rn and feeling sleepy, getting drunk on good beer honestly feels more like getting high on heroin.
Quality alcohool gives a much better buzz.
>>
>>217474449
>I wonder if that guy really drank that much.... I know people who can.
It's possible but it's way more likely that it is a tab for the whole table. When I'm out with my mates we also write down our beers on a single coaster and evenly split it at the end.
>Not my first choice either but its fast and close to home....
Been there. And looks quite good for 3€.

Is the triple cheeseburger from burger king still 3 euros in Germany? Used to always pick a few of those before my drinking sessions.
>Belgian beers really slap.
Oh yeah. They are nice in winter. I like beers with higher alcohol content in winter.... Nothing like drinking some strong dark beer and watching the snow fall.

Anyway... Im drunk and gonna sleep rn, il leave you some comfy but slightly disturbing music from this Austrian weirdo. Good night anon.

>Is the triple cheeseburger from burger king still 3 euros in Germany?
I looked it up on a delivery website:
normal cheeseburger = 3,89€
double cheeseburger = 6,19€
A triple one doesn't exist and maybe the prices are better in the physical stores.
>Used to always pick a few of those before my drinking sessions.
I either eat a normal meal or make myself a plate of various breads, cold cuts and cheeses. Or I'm ordering some meat balls in the pub.
>Nothing like drinking some strong dark beer and watching the snow fall.
Damn yeah. Years ago I got myself a crate of 12 different Trappist beers. But I don't remember which ones...

And good night Anon.

For beer I used to drink stouts and porters and occasionally a wheat beer, far preferred rum or bourbon though, but I pretty much stopped drinking alcohol completely since thc was legalized, now I usually just have a few thc drinks on the weekend and only have alcohol if I'm going out with friends or having people over because I realize that weed is not fun in public
