I heard it’s basically impossible to learn a slavic or finno-urgic language.
>>
it's not

Nothing is impossible. Just do it.

It's not but why waste the effort?

I learned to speak Finno-Ugric language at age of 2, whats your excuse?

But seriously spoken i think russia would be easier for Indo-European speakers if they get over cyrilic writing system.

Finnish again is completely different but its actually very logical and if you understand what agglutinative means you are half way there.

Anyone can learn Cyrillic in an evening. This is not at all the main struggle of learning Russian to an English speaker. Russian and Slavic languages in general have very rich morphology, which makes the buffalo buffalo buffalo anglo brain shortcircuit and go “what do you mean I have to modify a word to turn it from a noun into a verb”?

"marx flied on a tree as a bird and picked your eyes out" xaxaxa )))) tier loaning from sub 100iq subhumans, but honestly i think its easier to learn russian than Finnish, i mean Finnish is obv cooler due J.R.R Tolkien who based elves language almost completely in Finnish.

from whom?

If you're an anglo native, learning anything with a complicated enough TAM system, aspectual pairs and verbs of motion is going to be challenging because you're not only learning a new language from scratch but don't have a notion of how any of these work.

Properly understanding Finnish memes is not a waste at all. In fact it should be mandatory for the whole world to learn Finnish just to understand Finnish memes.
