Does east asians even care about realism and realism technique in their art?

All I see is east asians literally only are if there are cute girls to fap over.
East asians literally can be fine with stick figures if they have an anime bow on the stick figure head.

Europeans seems to care only about the most realistic copy paste of reality, and that's why they only care if it looks like a photography made by a computer or a photo camera.

Those art styles were trying to be realistic. Once realism started in the 1700s, Europeans created new art styles trying to go back.

This is because in the west, artists were trying to mimic reality as much as possible before the camera came along. Like paintings of presidents before the camera being a widely available thing is an example of this.

800 years ago, the mainstream art in China encouraged artists to express themselves in the most concise way, possibly influenced by Zen, I guess. There were some realist painters, but after the fall of the Song dynasty, realism was no longer accepted by the mainstream art . ...

In Japan, realism was not sought outside of natural history books.
