I've only driven Japanese cars and never had problems so didn't had a reason to drive anything else, what am I missing with German cars?

I bought a model of Japanese car which was its direct market competitor. I was willing to accept that it has a worse chassis and handling in exchange for being more honest, straightforward engineering. Turns out it burns oil and had a breakdown once. My region has 0% vat for electrics and if you add a few incentives you can get it for literally like 10.000€ or 11.000€
