Some Chinese Zoomers have serious mental health issues. They perceive society as cold and ruthless, and family as evil. As a result, they develop certain mental disorders, then self-harm and post videos of it on TikTok to seek attention.
When they share their stories, I find that the vast majority involve only trivial family problems.
But when I was their age, finding a corpse that had been rotting for seven days in the park grass was commonplace. Sometimes there would be a human head in the school toilet. The TV news would report another 27 people dead in the city. My parents basically ignored me their greatest effort was simply keeping me from starving.
Yet I still maintained my mental health and held correct values. I earned a master's degree and became a successful person.

The impression that China has good public security is only a recent phenomenon, dating back to the last decade.

i dont think it has good public security now but rotting corpses in the park being common is more than i expected

Jews are controlled by guilt and Asians are controlled by shame. It'll make sense once you factor that in
>>

This was roughly the period in China between 1980 and 2010. It's not like that now. Because there are many surveillance cameras, and guns are completely banned.
>>

were not controlled by guilt
>>217622179
was it gangs? i heard about mafia/gangs in hong kong in the 80s but i thought that died out in the 90s-00s

why do asians use the most audacious filters? are they actually trying to convince people they look like that?
>>

My ID is vpnchang. I actually live in mainland China.

Yeah but chinese are not inclined toward lethal violence. Chinese are docile and tight.

the fact that you got a masters degree despite the odds mean that you live in a decent country with plenty of opportunities

had you have the same circumstances here you'll be a 45 year old man selling scrap metal for a bundle of bok choy to boil every night

The more you use them the more blind you go to the filters, they see them all day and completely forget what orientals look like
>>

Chinese have probably had more internal genocides and civil wars than any other ethnicity in the world.

That's dat face culture, maintaining appearances is more important than authenticity. If they pay for a new jawline and epicanthic folds, that is as good as the real thing for them.

Yes but that happens when society breaks down. In normal times they are not committing brutal violence like latinx or africans.

Indeed, 2000-2019 was China's period of growth, and becoming a civil servant/bureaucrat was considered an option for failures. After graduation, I thought about it carefully: the more people there are, the fewer opportunities there are and the greater the risk. So I applied for the "University Graduate Village Official" program at the time. Back then, basically anyone who applied could get in; now, even PhDs need to take rigorous exams to get in! Haha, I'm so fuck smart.

Abandoning everything for the sake of GDP.
Corruption is tacitly permitted, with bureaucrats colluding with organized crime syndicates.
Gun bans haven't been in place long enough, and there's little concern about smuggled firearms.
Insufficient surveillance and monitoring.
The massive layoffs from state-owned enterprises and the large-scale military demobilization resulted in a huge number of unemployed individuals with military training and no money.
