How many of the 6 UN languages do you speak? Do you wish to learn any of the ones you don't know?
>>2176229583>Do you wish to learn any of the ones you don't know?I already understand a bit of Spanish and really like the language so learning it should be easy

>>217624754À mon avis, le français restera toujours la plus belle langue du monde. L’anglais n’existe pas. C’est du français mal prononcé. >>217625459What is it with Euros and their desire to move to Latin America?
>>217626212>What is it with Euros and their desire to move to Latin America? Is this really that common? Also I'm unsure if I want to do it anymore.

>>217622958Pretty fucked up that if this map was made 100 years ago, German would also have one of the top spots. Large swathes of Eastern, central and northern Europe would be German, large portions of Africa, certain places in Asia like China, Papua and Micronesia. And of course, who could forget a huge portion of America, essentially all of the Midwest, Pennsylvania, and parts of the south, California, Brazil and Canada would also be German speaking. Anglos who lived in these areas literally had to send their children to German language classes so they'd be better prepared to do business and live among their majority German neighbors. As late as the 1940s, there were still court proceedings in some Midwest towns that were done 100% in German. Then all it took was 2 measly world wars and the German were either murdered, expelled, forcibly culturally genocided, or in the case of America willingly (or should I say capitulatedly) culturally genocided themselves, and just a few decades later, German is almost non existent outside of the core German countries in Europe. An unlike other genocides, this one is not remembered, there are no holidays, or laws forbidding their denial, or anyone even talking about it anymore. What a sad state of affairs for a once adventurous, resilient, well traveled people. Not with a bang, but with a whimper, huh? Fucking pussies.
>>217632033>I only speak one - English. There's no point learning other languages. Why would I need arabic, spanish, french or chinese/russian?That's because you're on the outside looking in. If you actually spoke any of those languages, you'd know how crucial they are to our globalized world and economies. I mean your country is on the damn border of China and Russia. No more memes, let's talk seriously: do you really think if your parents had forced you to learn Chinese and Russian as a kid, and now as an adult you're fluent in kyrgiz, English, Russian, and Chinese, your life would be somehow worse than it is right now? No utility in those language huh? Totally useless? Waste of your brain's HDD space, better spent memorizing shitty song lyrics and the opening of the fellowship of the ring? Pfffffft fuck outta here. At the very least, you don't think you'd have a better job/make more money? With those language skills, you'd be in super high demand, and I'm guessing your salary would probably be much higher than the local average. But since you're a jaded 30 year old man now, and you're stuck in your ways, you only think these things aren't important. But your children would thank you greatly if you took these languages seriously and forced your kid to take these language classes. But fine, if you're too proud to admit it, then the alternative is that the cycle will continue, and your family and your country will fall further behind our ever interconnected world. I'm sure being a manual laborer is a better job for your kids than being a diplomat, or a translator for a big company, or an international salesman or some shit.
>>217622958English native, on the long march of learning Russian and getting taught French in university because I can. It'd be a good laugh to learn arabic and spanish. I already know Latin so that wouldn't be a bother. I did at one time think learning chinese would also be a good laugh but one of my uni lecturers has the foulest attitude and the thickest accent which ultimately soured me of any will to learn it. If im going to learn a slanty eye language its going to be japanese.
>>217632824He's a retarded churka, anon. It's hopeless
