Do you trust mental health care professionals in your country?
>>
>>217625546
Yeah I got duloxetene but haven't taken it yet
>>
>>217625546
I wouldnt trust them in any country
>>
>>217625546
Only the ones that dropped out before finishing high school. That's when the brain washing started. I buy vitamin from a redpilled guy called EnergyGuruVitamins
>>
Of course, they're there to help
>>
That's dumb. Therapy is supposed to be a conversation. Talking through your issues with another person. If you're so susceptable to adopting other's views that's hardly on the fault of the counselor.

I tried cymbalta last year just once (60mg) and it gave me the worst side effects I've ever had from a medication, like constant growing anxiety to the point of thinking that I would have a panic attack and TONS of sweating until the next day, now I've been taking effexor for 2.5 months and I think it's been working a bit but I also want to get into wellbutrin and the shrink delays it for no fucking reason and instead increased the dose on one of my antispycotics (I am not antispycotic they're given to me for sleep lmao)

Wise man

Are you being ironic?
>>
He sent me to a psychiatric ward, so not anymore.
It was only for 7 days but it felt like an eternity.
>>
We basically have no mental healthcare here. schizos and psycos are free to go anywhere they want. People aren't diagnosed with mental issues. I'm surprised we haven't more violent crimes because of this. maybe those are also unreported.
>>
If you have amerishart type illness mental thing, know that its not illness, its a defect since birth and you cant fix it.
There are no cures or treatments, so ignore it or find a coping mechanism.

What is amerishart type illness mental thing?

Anxiety, depression, faggotry, autism, spectrums, unnatural hair dye, man buns, vegetarianism, the whole ordeal.

I got 30mg 2x a day, maybe slamming back 60 gave you anxiety?
>>
I've seen enough of it
Don't trust them with cause and effect, and don't do drugs without a proper treatment plan(and thereby only do drugs when doing the activity).

If you want your PTSD treated, go for it.
But exhaustion? Unless you are burnt out, its more likely to be long covid or sleep apnea, and you are getting mood suppressants which is going to ruin you long term.

At least your produce is real. We got bioengineered meat here, idk if im eating a 3d printed steak or a real one.
>>
I don't know. I think not. Neurology has gotten pretty far with the scanning of brains and understanding of human thinking.. I am not sure about treating people with pills and shrinks and their speech therapy. I always struggled to understand, how it can be scientific, to categorize a person based on their own statement or on watching their behavior and determing their inner workings through that, that makes no sense to me and sounds like mumbo jumbo shamanism.
>>
I trust in neuroscience and the effects neurotransmitters have on the brain.
>>

Yes

no

The "science" (actual meta-analyses not pharma-industry funded shite) shows that SSRIs and most other drugs for psychological problems don't work.
>>
>>217628928
does is matter if it's real if you can't tell?

link?

Never trust doctors, they'll prescribe meds that fuck you up mentally

Stay away from wellbutrin
>>
>>217630735
If you cared you'd look it up yourself because I'm not posting and getting into an argument about it. Done that far too many times and it's useless.
>>
>>217630454
Psychological issues can stem from chemical imbalance or real life happenings. Drugs only fix chemical imbalance. If your dog dies, you will naturally be sad. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help get you through this without the need for drugs. If you're shopping for cereal and start crying for no reason, you are chemically imbalanced and need drugs to augment serotonin and dopamine levels.
>>
>>217625546
Not at all. You're best off keeping your brain as pure as possible, don't introduce chemicals into it.
>>
>>217630964
Cannot believe you fell for the "chemical imbalance" meme that literally came from a disproven paper from the 80s.
>>
>>217631094
Wellbutrin caused some sort of psychosis for me, I'm pretty sure

Don't listen to doctors, they'll fuck you up with their meds

Enalapril (beta blocker) caused a permanent reoccuring anaphylaxis reaction for me
>>
>>217625546
No, I know if I went to one and spilled the beans I would be certified with every mental illness in the book

Drugs are good but therapy is a scam. Last time I went to therapy was about 10 years ago and I told my therapist I wasn't sure the holocaust totally happened and that maybe communists exaggerated it and he got all upset and just turned into a redditor instead of understanding where I was coming from with my chuddery.
>>
>>217631166
So what are your beliefs in the matter? Do neurotransmitters not exist? Are schizophrenics communicating with spirits?
>>
I've never taken any of those drugs before and I've never seen a mental health 'professional'
Any unhappiness or anxiety I've felt have clear links to events I've experienced or the current state of my life and I've never felt the need to get a therapist to drug me into submission
I am not weak and I hate weakness
>>
>>217625546
>mental health care professional
not a real thing
>>
>>217631866
Neurotransmitters exist but your life style and thought patterns tell your body what transmitters to produce, just stuffing extra synthetics in there is fighting the tide with a bucket

Speaking from experience because I've surfed both sides of the serotonin/dopamine waves at different points in my life
