I once sat down and read in-depth how embalming is done and it is so disgusting and disturbing it's difficult to understand how anyone could tolerate it being done. It's a perverse science, you have to be sick in the head to some degree to do it as a job and ignorant and uncaring to allow it to be done to a body that used to be someone you cared about.
Necrophilia is less invasive than embalming.

Personally I find the job of American morticians very interesting after seeing the recent Mortuary Assistant game.
I wish it existed in my country, but we don't do open coffin funerals here now so there is no point in embalming.
