I am a New England native who has spent much of his adult life in California, and I unapologetically ride the fence. The West Coast has more beautiful geography and a milder climate overall, the East Coast, or at least the Northeast, has history, four distinct seasons, and warm summer nights. It’s nearly impossible to swim in most of the Pacific, it’s impossible to surf in basically all of the Atlantic.I’m unironically happy to live where I live, but if I didn’t live here I would return to the Northeast.
