Damn that is poorly maintained
My town in MA of 5k keeps it in good order, have some gravestones going back to the revolutionary war
Here in this french village, the graveyard has tombstones that are so old they're just a little nub sticking out of the ground. Others from the 1700s that are only partly legible.

Yeah I just moved here and I was surprised to see some relatively new residents based on the condition. I think the earliest in here were sometime in the later 1800s when it was much more isolated

The one in the town I grew up in is a 10 minute drive in the middle of some vineyards, one whole section is just mounds of dirt with no gravestones or markers where the poor people were buried in the late 1800s/early 1900s, wish I had taken pics of it it's pretty crazy looking.
