Would you rather live in Boston or Seattle?
>>
>>217655187
I dont know anything about any of those
>>
>>217655187
Japanese people think these two cities are the best US cities and gun shooting or murder never happen there unlike other US cities.
>>

Boston. I don’t much like the weather, the accent, or the driving, but my brother lives there and enjoys it, I have a couple of childhood friends there, Cape Cod is nice in the summer, and it’s closer to my family (I am originally from a small town in the far western part of Massachusetts). I would probably live In Cambridge before I lived in Boston proper, though.

I have only visited Seattle a few times, briefly; it seems okay, and I think I’d prefer the climate there, but I find people in the PNW more smug and annoying than Massholes, who can be awful but are at least somewhat more down to earth.

>>
>>217655187

Southern or Northern?
>>
Seattle has nicer weather but Boston has more sovl. I'd probably pick Seattle because I like Asian food
>>
>>217655187
I'm assuming Boston has more crime but it also has more SOVL.
>>
>>217655530
Boston but they have a weird accent.
>>
>>217655187
I appreciate Boston as America's most historical city.
>>
>>217655655
Northern, I guess? Closer to Vermont than Connecticut. But I rarely think of the 413 in terms of N vs S, just as hill vs valley. I’m from a hilltown.

Seattle solely for the nature nearby
>>
>>217655187
Seattle. I don't know neither of them, but I reckon the climate and environment there would suit me better.
>>
>>217655270
Seattle doesn't have particularly low crime. NYC is much better, and San Diego on the West Coast. You guys are right about Boston tho
>>
>>217656205
Just curious. Im a vermonster, but I spent a lot of time in Greenfield, North Adams, and Pittsfield growing up. I lived 10 mins from the Mass border.
>>
>>217655270
Boston has relatively low violent crime rates compared to other major cities. Most crime is concentrated in the neighborhoods where all the blacks and browns live.
>>
>>217655187
bosten
>>
>>217655187
Boston was part of the thirteen colonies so they have a cool history, but in general i would be extremely grateful to live in any city in a firstie country
>>

A lot of Irish descendants in Boston so I would fit in, plus I've heard Seattle is a depressing rainy shithole

I’ve never been to the east coast but the anon that mentioned that Seattleites are smug, passive aggressive cunts wasn’t lying. I liked living there, but it was a long time ago. I don’t know what it’s like now.
>>
>>217660098
Oh, okay. Sorry. I’ll never go back.

But depending on where on the Cape you’re from, and for how many generations, members of my extended may have been spending parts of the summer there since your people were fresh off the boat from the Azores or Cape Verde.

>IRL it’s only been the last 60 years or so for us.

>>217656880
Gotcha. Those are all more or less in my native territory—I’m from the middle of nowhere (in the woods, last house on a long, dead-end gravel road) between Adams and Pittsfield.
>>
>>217660778
its one of the oldest cities in the US so a lot of the buildings there were made during the colonial era
>>
I've heard Seattle and PNW is swinger/ethical non-monogamy friendly? How true is that?
>>
>>217655187
Boston is really nice if you're a Cold Appreciator and can play winter sports like Ice Hockey
>>
Boston is basically a utopia if you can afford it
>>
>>217662041
anon you can build whatever life you want anywhere in the world. if that involves polyamory so be it

I lived in ST louis for 4 years, most cities are only shit in a couple neighborhoods and it's dangerousness is overhyped overall, i frequently went to the gym at 1am by myself
