Why are there barely any islamic terror attacks now? I remember growing up, every week there used to another muslim that bombed a building, rally, or beheaded someone for no other reason than alahalahalahalajlah all over the world. Quite literally almost every week. Security was taken to the max anywhere you went, even at malls you went through thorough frisking. Now we never hear of islamic terror much. Did they all get defeated?

- ISIS got defeated (they are still around but much smaller in numbers and lack strong operational centre the Syria-Iraq caliphate was)- Al-Qaeda is focused on Sahel, West Africa and Somalia and does terrorism there- Security agencies have finally started taking their job seriously
mass surveillance is normalized just recently we have seen a bombblast in newdelhi lot of suspects got arrested for terror funding transactions also arabs are actively funding islamic extremists and destabilizing africa
