Are psychologists useful in your country? I went to one for like a year but it didn't help me at all, and she was supposed to be one of the best ones with years of experience.

Listen if they helped you then you wouldn't come anymore and that's bo more money for them. There's plenty of broken people but most cannot be helped anyway so might as well profit off of them. I studied psych and this is all I saw it as so I work in other fields and use it to manipulate people that way. I learned from those always coming to me with their problems that I don't give a shit.
Been to countless psychologists and therapists throughout my 23 3/4 years and none were helpful. They were rather dismissive and unwilling to do their job.
the kind of people they're most helpful to are the people who talk a fucking lot in general and just constantly feel the need to talk
