It is a very absurd concept that some countries have fully grown men who's only job is to put stuff into a bag, which seems both inefficient because they don't know what order the items should go in the bag according to customer preferences and because they're just crowding the checkout area and providing an unnecessary service, like if you had a designated person pushing your trolley around the shop for you.
