Does this happen in your country?

I wear a sweater knitted by me mum

Think so. Don't know much about brands but I see a lot of people wearing the same brand clothes.

Yes, most people here are retarded consoomers.
Meanwhile smart autistic chudcels like me will read specs like fill power, down-feather ratio, GSM weights. etc. to determine the most warmth per dollar, then proceed to get no bitches due to lack of gucci logo and good facial bone structure.
>>
That's like carrying a giant "ROB ME" sign over your head
>>
>>217690201
Never heard of it. Here it's North Face.... all the sheeps wearing the same jacket
>>
>>217690135
no, we have our domestic brand that's basically the same but for less than half the price

Its already coming to Europe
They sell €120 sports leggings for women. Goes well with matcha and pilates
>>
>>217690135
Yes, however not to me. Consumerism and brand loyalty is retarded. I only buy stuff for practicality. Any excess is not desired.
I wear things and fix things, and continue to wear them until they are unable to be fixed.
>>
it's all made in china anyway
>>
>>217690513
That's the worse part. Sometimes they're literally the same jacket.
>>
>>217690318
Funny. North Face used to be the popular brand here but their quality went down and their products were less suitable for winter so they fell out of favor a bit. Brands cannot get away with substandard winter performance here. It takes one season for consumers conclude this jacket is cold, drafty, isn't waterproof, and they flock to something else.
>>
>>217690135
sometimes its justified, when the name brand product actually uses better quality materials and has a nicer fit than the generic shit you'd get at penneys or tk maxx. Then again, stuff like graphic tshirts with company logos on them are just an easy way of branding yourself as goycattle
>>
>>217690592
Blew my mind going from
Canada to France and seeing Canada Goose jackets everywhere
It’s barely even cold
We are just THAT powerful

Same here. North Face is considered a mall brand here, ie. something you could find at a Macy's or Kohl's or any other soulless department store chain. There's nothing special about it. They occasionally do cool limited edition stuff with higher end brands, but it's still shit quality.
>>
>>217690163
It used to be like that for us too before we were flooded with cheap Ameriplastic.
>>
>>217690706
I went to a Hugo Boss in Karlsruhe and lost my mind seeing the prices of clothes, let alone books in stores when looking at them in euros.

kek wtf
Why is this brand so big with Europeans? I feel like whenever I watch a walking tour video of a city in Europe there's always some roided Balkan or Slavic looking guy wearing a skintight BOSS t shirt or something. Here in the US it's just another faux-luxury mall brand.

(I spend about 250$ for a sheep leather jacket a couple months ago. No obnoxious visible logo thoughever)
>>

you mean Guess? I always assumed that was a music band lol
>>
>>217692063
It even became popular with browns here, no idea why you would spend $1k on a useless jacket. Even funnier when it only gets below 0C a couple times a year at most lol.

Unless you’re from New York, North Face is considered brown coded in the USA. White people wear Patagonia, Columbia Sportswear, Eddie Bauer, Outdoor Research, Mountain Hardwear, Fjallraven, Kühl, and Arc’Teryx. Arc’Teryx is also brown coded but it’s expensive and trendy so white and Asian people also wear it. Speaking of Asian people, they love Canada Goose.
>>
>>217693848
umm fashionbro is Uniqlo brown coded?
>>
>>217690333
Who the fuck wears these stupid puffers jackets except Arab immigrants and broccoli haired zoomers?
>>
>>217693800
Stop buying from Brapzilian street vendors bro. Uniqlo is good
>>
Oh and Cotopaxi is popular with white hippies, Filson with white ranch hand and logger LARPers, L.L. Bean with white dads.
>>
>>217693857
No. Everyone buys stuff from Uniqlo.
>>
I only wear clothes that I buy from costco and marks work warehouse (google it).
>>
>>217693866
There was a point growing up in New York in the 2000s where the coolest outfit you could possibly wear was jeans and a T shirt with a North Face puffer or fleece and Nike Air Forces, Jordans, or G-Unit sneakers.

>>217693753
Bro what, uniqulo is considered luxury here. Westoids cant suffer
>>
>>217691916
American shitlibs think Helly Hansen is Neo-Nazi coded. Seriously. They write articles and thesis papers about it.
>>
>>217690135
You can't buy nice The North Face jacket under 500$ anymore. Zoomers don't know it wasn't expensive brand. I was just organizing my closet recently and found the jacket, which i probably bought for like 50 bucks
>>
>>217694083
TSMT. I was so confused when I found out it's some sort of hypebeasty zoomer fashion brand now, because I remember in the 2000s my mom bought me one from the Dillard's discount aisle.
>>
>>217694149
Oh and same thing with Kappa, Champion, and Carhartt. Crazy how they managed to all change their brands with zoomies

In my opinion Uniqlo is good if you wear nice shoes or accessories. They aren't that cheap as they used to or don't even look cheap anymore. I think wearning random brands without concept gives woman ick the most. Like Patagonia t shirts with Nike or Vans sneakers
>>
>>217694183
kappa is expensive now? i was semi embarassed to wear one of their jackets as a kid
>>
>>217690135
I only see third world monkeys from the middle east, slav lands and africa care about that shit. Or women.
>>
why do you live someplace where you need a fancy jacket?
>>
>>217694149
>>217694183
Fuck I totally understand what your talking about. Those stores weren't even located in the best location at the shopping mall. My local shop that was selling those brands was located in the suburb next to fucking Matsumoto Kiyoshi which is pharmacy shop. I think GAP was rather cheap before as well
>>
>>217694083
I bet it's because of how easily you can get no-name Chinese stuff on Amazon/Shein/Temu, any known brand becomes premium when that's its competition.
