I want to move to Russia as a European American. I'm done with America and the garbage life here. I want to start a career as an electrician in Russia and transfer my skills.

Russians, what's the best region I should move to? Outer Moscow? 40k seems like a good monthly rent or is there a cheaper area.

How is life in Russia, what do people usually eat and is 500 USD enough to live on?

I'm planning on brining 10k in cash and 50k in BTC with some gold too.

Where do you live and what do you do on a daily basis, as a russian.

Do you have to talk to the cashiers at the grocery or is it usually nonverbal? I know basic russian I can read cyrillic but I cant into conversation.

I mean just say hello, dont really have to talk to them. Also everywhere has self-checkout and everything delivers so there isnt much need to go to the grocery store yourself.
