>>217693633Here, 12 hour clock is mainly used in very informal contexts, like asking someone for the current time on the street. But pretty much everywhere else the 24 hour clock is used, especially if it's something slightly formal, like a doctor's appointment, any sort of written document, digital clocks, smartphone or computer clocks, etc.For example, when my boss asks what time of day we can meet up to go to a client, I will always answer in 24 time, but if a friend asks me something similar, I usually answer in 12 hour clock.24 hour clock just feels more punctual and direct, even though if you really wish, here you can just attach the word "morning", "afternoon" or "night" to a 12 hour time to achieve the same effect (AM/PM is not a thing here).>>217693641Classic.
>>217693306Nobody else uses both??? Wtf that can't be true

Nobody uses metric time. I have never heard of a ten-hour day.

>>217694858>I have never heard of a ten-hour day.get a job
>>217693952We use both in coloquial speech. It's 19:00 on a clock but people still often call it "7th hour", for example
>>217693306europeans will make fun of americans for using miles and inchesand then proceed to used 24 hours of 60 minutes or 7-day weeks and 28-31 day months
I always get confused about what is 12 PM and what is 12 AM I just know it's counterintuitive

What classifies as mixed because verbally we do use 12 hour system, however we never do so in writing and do not have the equivalent A.M. and P.M.
