Does anyone find it hard to take British people seriously? They never take anything seriously themselves. Look at the Parliament sessions, it's like a damn reality TV show. Even things like terrorism and war are done with the tone of "OI BLOKES, THIS IS A BAD THING, INNIT?"
Waheyyyyy
Its so we can do>comic relief character gets seriousbut in real life
>>217702673We can't all have politics as serious as the United States.
>>217702673same desu
>>217702673The average British man thinks he's the most hilarious person in the world and this shows in the way people actThis really came to me when I was coming back from a holiday and during the bit on the plane where the flight attendants go through the safety stuff the guy sat next to me made some terrible jokes if you can even call it that during it to his wife (something like "If you have any questions please press the button for the flight attendant to assist", "yeah, I got one, where do I get a drink") and she would just politely laugh which made him do even more jokes
>>217702673not only do I not take them seriously, I don't believe those are their real accents. nobody actually talks like that; let's be serious.
>>217706299alright deano and how was ayia napa at this time of year
>>217706390Well mint mate, but this was months ago desu
British boomers are incredibly annoying and lack self awareness. I swear they will just stand in front of a doorway that people need to cross and not think anything of it unless asked to move
>>217702673That's what makes them pleasant to hang out with. It's crazy how different their mannerisms are compared to germs and even the french on the other side of the channel.
>>217702673https://youtu.be/d5Rv8IGO1gEThis was fucking hilarious tbf Context is a scandal around a reform member taking a bribe from Russia
>>217702673it makes more sense when you know that drinking is allowed in the british parliament so most of them have had a pint or two
