It is widely know that (just as at philosophy, laws, sciences, medicine, arts, architecture, games, warfare, etc.) Arabs writers invented concepts of chivalry and courtly love influencing an orphan cultureless people as the West Europoids.

A last study lead by Dolores Oliver Pérez, from the University of valladolid, concluded that the Song of Mio Cid was written by the Valencian Arab poet and jurist, Abu I-Walid al-Waqqasi around the year 1095 AD.

The poem was singed first in Romance and Arab before it was translated into Castilian during the XIII century.

And this is not a surprisse to me, the Castilian literature was largely based after Oriental classicals as Sapiential literature from "Thousand and one nights" or the Arab chivalry poetry from the jarŷas singed by the Andalusian peasants during Middle-Ages, trends and tropes of Oriental literature that flooded this barbarical miserable continent during the Dark Ages of ignorance and stupidity as a bunch of fresh air among all the German barbarism.

Al-Andalus actually gave Europe critical exploration tools, which ended with the colonization of the Americas.

Eurangutans love to say that they "civilized" the Americas, under that logic Muslims civilized Europe.
>>
>>217704486
Western Europe was civilized by Andalucia.
Eastern Europe was civilized by Ottomans.

Not even the alphabet is European but literally stolen from Phoenicians. Everything in this continent has been taken from Near easterners.
>>
>>217704486
Why didn't they colonize americas themselves
>>
>>217705605
They were more focused in the silk road. Europeans needed new routes, in fact Al-Andalus sailors already knew about the Americas, but they lacked financial incentives.

Andalucia did birth more scientists in 100 years than Rome in all of its history. And don't even get me started on the introduction of hydraulic engineering developed by the Persians to Europe via the Andalusians such as waterwheels, watermills, canals, etc., etc., etc., which later became fashionable in the countries where the Sephardics fled which still were stuck at Neoithic era by the time they arrived.

This continent has always been a cesspool full of barbarians.
>>

>Andalucia did birth more scientists in 100 years than Rome in all of its history.
Complete and utter bullshit
Also those people were mostly native Iberians that built upon greek and roman knowledge, and this has fuck all do to with islam
>>
>>217706475
Roman naval strength was primarily seen as soldiers, and not as sailors. They didn't have the same tools muslims had for naval expedition.
>>
>>217707029
Such as? Saracen naval technology was taken from the byzantines, while critical innovations like the compass and ocean going ships were invented by northmen, the modern compass and modern sea/coastal charts were invented by the italians, later on the british invented the sextant etc.
Many other tools were

There are only two Roman scientists through all Roman history.

From Andalucia I can name some names Ibn Firnas who was the first man who tried to fly, Azarquel an astronomer who invented the astrolabe, Abulcasis, the natural encyclopedist who invented the forceps and to identify hemophilia.

There are several hundreds of other Andalusian writers as Avempace, Avicebron, Averroes, etc etc etc., some who factually identified that species evolved given certain circunstances, others who tried to systematize alchemy (the study of elemental substances) as a science, mathematicians, etc., but that's not a matter here.

From Rome in all its history I can just think about 2 Latin scientists, ie, Collumella, but he was from Cádiz and felt more akin to his Punic identity, and Pliny the elder.
>>
>>217704657
Half of greek "inventions" are silk road memes that they wrote down, preposterous to believe that a couple of city states had more output than ancient egypt or china

Plus all these men are just the ones of Andalucia.

The North of África, the land of Iraq, Persia, Syria, Pakistan and Chorasmia also did birth several hundreds scientists in an age people living next to Andalucia borders got to watch the local German warlord consumate the Jus Primae Noctis to their wives and daughters.

>astrolabe
Greek.
>forceps
Lmao
>no roman scientists
There were plenty of roman engineers and educated men, they had academies and schools. Not many written records survived but we have plenty of archaelogical evidence.
>>

Pliny, Galen, Vitruvius, Ptolemy, Seneca, Celsus, Columella just to name a few
You are absolutely brain dead
>>
>>217707239
Astrolabe, magnetic compass, apart from advanced cartography and mathematical knowledge. Muslims may not have been the ones who discovered some of the things they gave to Europe, but they served as a bridge which is already enough.
>>
>>217707514
You are just appropriating technologies, mongo. The astrolabe is greek, modern compass was an italian invention, as well as modern nautical charts. Mathematics are knowledge. Denounce the quran right fucking now pinche tu madre
>>
>>217707367
Actually the very Greeks always reminded that their scripts came from Orientals.

The very first Greek philosopher, Tales of Miletus, was from Phoenician origins, and Greek philosophy historians used to say that Tales was not even the first philosopher, they always mentioned 2 philosophical schools that preceded the Greek schools.

These were: the Egyptian school founded by Hermes Trismegistus and the Phoenician one founded by Sanchoniatho the Berytian.

Even with that there were other schools as the Saphiental one of the Hebrews, with Solomon (10th century BC) being its main man.

That's what the islamic "golden age" was all about
translating works into arabic and claiming they were their own.
>>
>>217707715
It's absurd how mongo is claiming modern carthography when it was a renaissance and strictly italian breakthrough. I can understand trying to claim classical technologies with an obscure origin, but well documented technologies...

>>217707715
Dude, it is not our fault France greatest deeds at the time were tying old women to horses so they would die from the damage.

It is kinda funny than Greeks preferred to have deal with us to the point embassies between Baghdad, Cordoba, and Constantinople were permanent, than with any of your German shitholes.
>>
>>217707566
And? my point was never about muslims being the sole creators of everything, but about just being connected enough to being able to develop at greater heights.
