The last 10 years I've been spending them alone like 8 times. New year's eve alone 7 times, I think. The few times that I did attend some sort of festivities around these evenings was only to humor relatives/friends. These holidays do nothing for me. I treat them as normal days.

The one thing I do enjoy about those days is that I don't have to work. So I'm just going to get comfy.
