Not a fan of Russian literature at all, honestly.

Russian literature is a fucking meme. Apart from Pushkin even latam literature is better than that crap.

Nigga think he in the game lmao

he is, in fact, "in the game". 3 of them, in fact. soon to be 4.

Idk why, but Tolstoy is easily readable even when talking about the most meaningless and uneventful social gathering(as he does all the time).

Same. I read Crime and Punishment and Brothers Karamzov because he's reputed as the finest novelist ever, and I just came out mostly bored and unaffected. It's not that I don't find his exploration of heavy themes intriguing, but the moralizing and dull prose does not make for a strong read.

How do you read books where it's mostly just some guy's thoughts on things? I mean I can read after action reports and books that tell you what this guy or this country did; but I can never sit down to read some guy's musings without having to constantly tell myself to please take it seriously it was written by an ultra culturally important guy and not an edgy teenager
