I have finally decided to quit drinking
I have drank the equivalent of a handle of whiskey every ~5 days for a few years now
Last blood work I had done was a few months ago which showed elevated liver enzymes but nothing *too* emergent. Its always been in the back of my mind that I was killing myself but I was highly functional and didnt feel physically bad until recently.
Few days ago I felt bloated around my stomach and felt pain in my kidneys. Pain would intensify when I drank water but would subside after urination. I feel bloated and uncomfortable right now and am fairly certain its ascites but wont know for sure until I see the doctor.
Its been 48 hours since my last drink, surprisingly enough the only withdrawal symptoms I've experienced was increased heart rate the first night and trouble sleeping but magnesium glycinate for muscle relaxation and 2 75 mg lyrica from a drug rep sample pack that expired in 2018 did the trick. I am now lying in bed with a slightly painful pressure on my abdomen from what I assume is water weight and im about to pop an ambien to get to sleep. A little worried because apparently delirium tremens which is where the risk of seizures exists can onset anywhere between 2 and 5 days after the last drink so if im going to have a rough detox im gonna find out soon

Oddly enough no serious alcohol cravings; just a bit of boredom sitting here sober and worried about how badly ive fucked up my health.

You don't understand the doctrine of the Trinity. It's not the claim that God is three subjective individuals, but the claim that the one God subsists eternally in three coequal modes. The Father has metaphysical primacy, the Father is the arche, and the Son and Spirit are emergent realities with whom he communicates the fullness of his nature before time. Three infinites, three eternals, but because infinite and eternal, still an absolute unity, of one perfect mind, the persons differentiated only by relation of origin. The doctrine is essential because all three modes in which God is encountered in the Christian life, as Father, as Son, and as Spirit, are equally divine, equally true experiences of the one eternal God. You cannot divide the object of worship and experience into pieces or you become a polytheist. This was the problem with Arianism, they tried to force a scheme of Neoplatonic emanationism on the Christian faith, in which the Father is the arche, the Son is an emergent and inferior reality from the Father, and the Spirit is an emergent and inferior reality from the Son. This is not Christianity
