Because the average making fun of British food on the internet is either American or brown (these two can be used interchangeably for the most part) and knows nothing about cooking. Their taste buds are so fried from years of consuming nothing but processed "food" filled with sugar, corn derivatives, and preservatives that any dish which doesn't instantly assault their tongue with a FLAVOR BLAST!!! is automatically deemed "underseasoned" and the product of evil white people.
