We've truly fallen beyond Europe in burger research & development and it's genuinely such a disgrace. When I was in Spain I saw adds for picrel from Burger King. It's a double cheeseburger with a thick slice of deep fried cheese. I got it out of curiosity and it was delicious. We never have stuff like this in the US, at least not from mainstream fast food places like Burger King and McD's. All we get are meme colored burger buns and promotional deals with celebrities who only brown people have heard of.
