>was sent to the mosque by family to buy food/breakfast>haven't gone to the mosque in almost a decade>haven't really interacted with our community in a long while>barely anyone/nobody recognised me there>some thought I was a foreigner (non-Turk)Are you estranged with your community in your country?

>>217778717If, hypothetically, you heard people in the mosque planning a terrorist attack, would you inform the police?
>>217778931He, Türk yemekleri satılıyor. Ben gözleme ile pasta aldım. Pasta ama daha fazla Alman usülü.
>>217779006You're confusing us for Arabs. This is a majority Turkish mosque that's sponsored by the Turkish government. You mostly see Arabs and the like committing terrorism.

Im Korean Canadian on vacation and I dont interact with other Korean Canadian
Sounds like a good idea to pay for the upkeep of the building instead on relying on the donations
>>217779126They sometimes sell food on the weekends over here. Things like Lahmacun, Gözleme, Börek, etc.. Used to be once every three weeks but that might've changed. They also occasionally hold a kermes twice or thrice a year for everyone to attend to.Our community opened a new mosque after there was a conflict at the old one. They're doing these to finance it and help build it up.
>>217779152I'd interact with another Almancı if I saw them on vacation.>>217779189They do both. Selling food and taking donations from the community (which is displayed on a board).
