im a Canadian on vacation here in paris. Canada has considerably higher standard of living and so do Americans with stem degrees. i'd say the only thing europe has over Canada and America is the history and culture, but for day to day living, north america is by far better.

If you don't like the EU what do you think should replace it? European countries individually are too weak to properly advocate for themselves alone, while put together we would have potential to be a great power. Getting vetoed on every single foreign policy decision leaves Europe kinda pacified. I understand the EU is far from perfect and everyone wants to keep their own culture, but what would you want instead?
