I've just found out I've been taking "Navy showers" all my life.>A Navy shower is a method of showering that allows for significant conservation of water and energy by turning off the flow of water in the middle portion of the shower while lathering. The total running time of this kind of shower can last less than two minutes – using an initial thirty seconds or so to get wet, followed by shutting off the water, using soap and shampoo and lathering, then rinsing for a minute or less.Does this happen iyc?

>>217789288Its the proper way to shower, aint it?
>>217789312>>217789336no according to wikipedia its a military thinghttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navy_shower
>>217789312>>217789336I've literally never turned off my water mid-shower just to lather.
Why not just step away from the water?
i remember being taught this in home economics class in 9th gradehowever i live in a rented apartment with central heating and water included in the rent, so i take long, hot showers and usually end up sitting down for the final 15 minutes
>>217789288I like to stay a little bit longer than two minutes, but yeah, I turn the water off mid-shower as well
>>217789452Because the point is to conserve water and just stepping away from the stream Doesnt achieve that?

>>217789543bruh
>>217789288I tend to take longer showers, but yes I turn it off in the middle to apply shampoo, that seemed like a no brainer to me
>>217789388>>217789556what?
>>217789288How do you even use soap while the water is running? It gets instantly washed away before you have a chance to lather yourself with it.
>>217789312All human shower that way, yes.
>>217789288>>217789336>>217789494>>217789612I had no idea it was this bad in Europe.
>pull out showerabsolute cucks
>>217789543Water keeps falling from the sky all the time where I liveMost of the earth is covered in itThis is a desertfag problem PBS tried to foist on the rest of us>But the processing! Water processing doesn't take much electricity compared to actual domestic electricity
>>217789652Get a bigger shower
>>217789288that's how I've been showering my whole life
I figured showering for long uses more water so I take baths instead.
>>217789652Scrub self with soap, causing the soap remove the dirt, while the soap and dirt washes away. Why do you think the suds need to sit on your skin? What do you think that is doing that scrubbing with suds isn't? You know you can rub soap on a washcloth or flip it in your hands to generate suds, right?Or just use body wash if you're special ed.Europeans have so many strange psychological problems with basic things.
>>217789288We have so much water for us it would be like Bedouins conserving sandI also cool boiled eggs by keeping them in pot under running cold water for 10 minutes
Why do Meds consume so much tap water while they have water shortage?
>>217789288I bought a handheld shower head that has a button to stop the flow and I started using that. I've been more efficient.
I love the tub in my second apartment, my baths could take a hour or more. This cuckshed I have here is degrading but brings good memories from being conscripted.
>>217790421You should see my cuckshed bathroom it's less than 1 sqm
