Like... It's illegal? So if you want to make more money or work more hours you get fined or what?

Companies require proof you aren't working more than the time they give I think, I'm not really sure it never came up
>According to the German Working Time Act, employees should not work more than 48 hours per week. With the extension to 10 hours per day, employees can temporarily work up to 60 hours per week as long as the average over six months remains within the legal limits.

The company gets fined, all companies submit employee working hours

I have 5 jobs. Full-time seasonal job from April to November, 1 part-time job for summer (weekend shifts), 1 full-time job during winter which requires travel, when I'm not called on that job I am doing my 2 other winter jobs.

-2 jobs

To be fair, a lot of people waste money on inane stuff.

You can live ok by having a frugal life, but it's usually frowned upon, since no one wants to be seen as poor.

The German is talking about working at 1 job, when the question is about working multiple jobs.

I don't work, but doesn't matter because I'm ending my life soon enough

Just one part time. Not sure how someone could stay sane working more than 40 hours a week.
I'd rather just live with little than waste all my time.

I literally have a protocol for doing it

I don't really like it here. Don't mean the country, but this world. I don't like people, I don't like the premise of living under these arbitrary conditions.
Just wanna die man, I just wanna fucking die for fucks sake. This year I dedicated as a side project researching about suicide methods. The fact in itself that they ban the passive painless methods makes me hate this place even more. Do you know how fucking difficult and agonizing it is to die without a sure method.

Why is it so common for Americans and Canadians to work and never sleep while Europeans spend half the summer on vacation? What went wrong?
