Belgian girl missing in Tasmanian wilderness. They found her phone.

>how could you tell I have a bipolar disorder?

One way to experience true fear is to get lost in the deep wild. You ever seen the Blair Witch Project? Well you don't need a serial killer, nature will kill you herself.
Wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

Tasmanian tiger or yowie ate her

Look up Dutch custom of child droppings.... This is how they raised us, hardened us.

You are billion times more likely to be killed by a fellow human than nature.

this post reminds me of something i learnt about the first tasmania penal colony, if a prisoner rioted they would tie him up outside and at night times the tasmanian devils would eat the him alive for the rest of the prisoners to hear. thats why they got the name tasmanian devil
>>
>>217834178
why do europeans come here and get lost in the bush, eaten by a shark or murdered. it is like they have to sacrifice one of their own every summer

I like how you use "us" as if you had anything like this happen to you. Looking it up, it also seems like less of a "hardening" and more of a field trip activity by Dutch Boy Scouts.
>>
>>217834446
I think you were misled. Tazmanian Devils seem to have actually gotten their name from the scary noises they make that terrified early settlers.
>>

Wtf, that's crazy

I've been dropped many times.... In the fields.. forest at night.. on my head.... Came out scarred but stronger than before

>Male cavers getting stuck in 2mm wide crevices on a wall and dying
Can't imagine what possesses people to think up shit like
>Oh boy, today I'm going spelunking in the Dinky Doo-Doo cave, crawl my way through Asmodeus' Anal Afterbirth Alley and Beelzebub's Brutal Backbreaking Boondocks, better avoid Wobbly-Bobbly Funhouse though!
>crawls into Wobbly-Bobbly Funhouse and dies a slow and painful death

lmao, I might believe it here.
>>
>>217834505
Because of our continent being so crowded and safe people just can't really imagine what raw nature is like.
Dutch people for example are the absolute worst and we often have to get rescued from mountains wearing track pants and flipflops thinking it wouldn't cool down in the evening or getting down again would be 30 minute walk.

Tasmania try not to be the most treacherous wilderness terrain in all of Australia for clueless tourists to die in challenge *IMPOSSIBLE*

>>
>>217835241
is tasmania actually treacherous? it's small af you probably wouldn't have to walk that far to find civilization or a road but idk also its a temperate time of year down there

Tasmania has some of the gnarliest forests in the country, it's a 4WD mecca. It doesn't matter how "small" it is when it's so dense and full of steep terrain with cold weather. There's plenty of stories of escaped convicts getting lost and eating each other, there's even a decent movie about one party.

>>
>>217835595
It's not that small, it's the size of Netherlands and Belgium combined
>>

It was basically written for me by thirty-something dudes who thought they could win against thousands of tons of rock and dirt.
>>

Dutch kids get left at a park and think they're some hardened survivalists.
>>
>>217836053
I know, tell that to the other anon who doesn't realize there's forests there bigger any mainland city, you can get lost very easily.
>>
>>217836297
It's not that big unless it's completely uninhabited. If it's inhabited then there are bound to be roads and it won't take that long to come to a road if you just keep walking in whatever direction.
>>
>>217836503
Half the island is protected forests so yeah it's mostly uninhabited
>>
>>217836686
I just checked it on a map and only the south-western part has large enough area to be real trouble but even that one has a road crossing most of it. The rest are like 50-60 km across at most. You can walk that in a day.

>>
>>217837789
do you mean lowest as in very little amount of sunlight or lowest as in the sun is lowest in the sky? because tasmania is like around 40 degrees south of the equator and isn't like iceland where there is very little sun in the winter.
>>
>>217837042
Are you saying the maps are wrong and those roads don't exist? And I don't know how you got Americans mixed in this since they notoriously don't walk and walking out of a forest would be an impossible task for them as it seems to be to you too.

Nothing wrong with that. This field would be great to play with a dog
