The situation is more humiliating than you know. We still get a lot of Winter-themed Christmas stuff because of how Americanised we are, like a lot of snow-covered decorations etc. And we celebrate a separate 'Christmas in July' too just so we can have a winter-themed Christmas thing during winter which fully embraces the winter aesthetic. But even in winter it does not snow in Australia except in some mountains sometimes. We do this all because of Americanisation.
