>Brazilian haplogroups show a strong paternal European influence (Y-DNA R1b) but significant maternal Native American (A, B, C, D) and African contributions, varying regionally, reflecting historical colonization patterns with European males mixing with Native American and African females, creating a complex genetic landscape

Haplogroups are complicated.During most of Brazilian history, we pretty much imported only male Africans because the cost to transport a female and a male was the same, but males sold for 5 times more, so it was much better to ship only males. We don't have exactly records of how slaves were breed, but a important European painter wrote about his travels to Brazil at the end of the 18 century, and describe that slaves were content with their native wifes. Apparently Portuguese paid Bandeirantes to raid and capture female natives and used them to breed with slaves, one female for every 3 Africans was the "sweet spot". This keep the slaves from running off and relative docile. As time passes, there was an surplus of female born slaves, so the practice of kidnaping female natives was no longer needed and slaves started to be seen as people, and not only like farm equipment. Many of them started to be baptised, and were forced into monogamic relationships (no sub-Saharian African culture was monogamous prior to external influence) as a reward for good work and behaviour. In 1888, when slavery ended, many slaves were just "released" in the wild. The ones who lived close to important cities ended up being severely influenced by European genes because there was a need for free European workforce, so the emperor opened the doors to free immigration, and we all know what happen when 90% of the immigrants are male (just look at Europe right now and the "reverse colonization"), and the slaves who lived in remote farms ended up creating what was called "Quilombos".This is why blacks in big cities have R1b and blacks in Quilombos have African haplogroups.

>>217840035Your anus is the source right? African female haplogrupos represents 1/3 of Brazilian population, it's 3 times more than male african haplogroups(10%), so never had more black men than women in the colonization
>>217840193Public displays of racism were an important part of our football culture. When they banned it, people literally stopped going to stadiums.
>>217840231>African female haplogrupos represents 1/3 of Brazilian population,LOL, no.1/3 of the mitochondrial? yeah, likelly. But definitely not 1/3 of the mtDNA haplogroup.
i pray to god that this retard is vpnfaggot
>>217840265>1/3 of the mitochondrial? yeah, likelly. But definitely not 1/3 of the mtDNA haplogroup.Mtdna is literally mitochondrial DNA you fucking retard

>>217839654Every Latinx country is like this
>>217840500Not really. The only other country with "significant" african population in SOUTH AMERICA is fucking Colombia, and all blacks still live a few km from the place were they were last sold (a few km from the coast).Uruguay used to have a relative high African population compared with their scarce population, but then we invaded them and as war reparations, took all blacks from them.No need to thank Brazil for that.
>>217840609>but then we invaded them and as war reparations, took all blacks from themThey should kiss the feet of Brazilians for this noble act
