A team of brazilian social workers, sociologists and economic analysts reasearch on Bangladesh since 2023 to understand how the country works and gather ideas on how to improve their home state in Brazil.

They're researchers from the 'Plano de Promoção do Desenvolvimento Social' an initiative from the government of the state of Minas Gerais that seeks to address and eliminate extreme poverty in MG before 2033, in Bangladesh the team of researchers study how different Bangladeshi government policies and actions promoted by NGO's impact the lives of Bangladeshi people, the collected data will be used to calculate projections and take possible inspiration for government programs aimed towards the less fortunate residents of Minas Gerais. The Minas Gerais government has also worked in cooperation and directly funded some NGOs operating in Bangladesh, such as the
Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee in order test some case scenarios and have better access to the resulting data, aswell as helping the people of Bangladesh which have welcomed them in their country.
