Do people in your country say Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays?
>>217877073We say happy yule
>>217877073TRVTH NUKE
>say merry christmas>leftists claim you're literally hitler>say happy holidays>rightoids claim you're literally stalinstrange game, the only winning move is not to play

>>217877397cool kids, like me, say "yules"
>>217877487Westerners don't think Arabs and planes are a very good mix for some reason
no they say happy christmas
>>217877073Christmas is a middle eastern holiday. It’s God Jul here.
>Playing one of my weeb games which is now doing the Christmas event>Voice: Merri Chrismasu>Text: Happy Holidays I know people argue that it's because there's other holidays but the Christmas event starts in late December and is very clearly for Christmas
>>217877073Everyone at my job was saying merry christmas to each other on our way out today, no one gave a shit
>>217877073I usually say Merry Christmas, except when it's obvious the other side isn't going to celebrate Christmas.
>>217877406That's just like saying "Choose apple juice or orange juice, I'll shoot you if you choose any of it btw".
>>217877777I like apple
>>217877671should say Merry Chrismasu**translators note: Japanese concept for consumerist celebration in late December that originates from wide variety of mid-winter celebrations that have various meanings in different cultures ranging from welcoming the end of darkness and lengthening of the day with celebrating through lighting up trees, eating and drinking heavily to more solemn celebrations of Christian variety about birth of their messiah Jesus Christ. Chrismasu is know in different cultures with many names like Yule, Jul, Joulu, Christmas, Saturnalia etc.
>>217877302mmm, WE EVROPEANS ... actually say yule or saturnalia ;)
>>217877073Merry Christmas. On a side note, I've always found it funny how in non-Christian countries people have no problem saying Merry Christmas, yet in western Christian countries there are people who are offended by it. Truly neo liberalism/wokeism/cultural Marxism has done significant damage to the west
>>217878038It's atheists and Jews. They're the only ones who have a problem with it.
>>217878141https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEcIQpzUrx0If you're Christian, have a wonderful Christmas. If you're Jewish, enjoy the Chinese food-Ben shapiro
>>217877073>>217877655
>>217878303this, christmas enjoyers are just crypto jews. all this anglo seething about merry christmas/happy holidays is basically jew infighting. true EVROPANS celebrate yule or saturnalia or what ever the fuck, but not middle eastern imports. normally i wouldn't give a fuck, but the jews are bringing their infighting on a global scale now (at least on /int)
>>217877073We say happy eid, jealous?
>>217878141>and JewsChristmas is celebrated in Israel though. Not as much as in other countries but still. I think it's left-wing people in general who have a problem with saying Merry Christmas https://www.touristisrael.com/christmas-in-israel-the-holy-land/3103/

>>217879803Sorry Muhammad, Yule is shirk. No presents for you.
>>217877073we say s nastupayushim novym godom
>>217879859wtf is shirk. i fucking loathe anglosphere obsession with foreign middle eastern cultures. well i guess it is not foreign to them what them being totally subsumed by judeo-christian civilization
>>217877073Both, sometimes used together in the same sentence or message"Happy Holidays / Sărbători fericite!" is not implied to have an atheist or anti-Christian meaning, it is just away to include winter celebrations like Saint Nicholas, Christmas, New Year and Epiphany( we also celebrate that) into one short formula. The dispute is indeed an Anglp problem, although I could see people here mimicking Americans and starting to believe "Happy Holidays" is atheist.
>>217879958Quit the taqiya, Mr Khan, it works on nobody.

now he's vpn'ing fucking muttsnever talk to them
I just say both. Is that so difficult? That way you cover all bases.
In Bulgaria we say happy holydays, because "holydays" in our language does not literally mean a holy day (accodring to google it comes from some protoslavic word for idle day), both new year and christmas are holydays for us it's correct to wish people happy holydays.
>>217880264the problem is needing to cover your bases in the first place. this is why anglosphere is doomed, my sole hope is that your neuroses don't trickle into my culture thanks to internet. thankfully with this particular thing it is pretty hard because we don't talk about christmas in the first place.
>>217877073Depends if they mean Christmas or also NYE etc.

>>217880361sir check account detailsaccount basend on england sir
>>217880317I don’t think of it as covering my bases. I just think of it as respecting the people around me, many of whom don’t celebrate Christmas (I personally have never celebrated it because I grew up in the Soviet Union). I don’t feel offended if somebody tells me Merry Christmas, but if someone else might, it’s like half-of-a-second out of my day.
>>217880428I see
>>217880405i see your posts and mudslime posts and literally can't see any difference. you are both living and breathing sandnigger culture, barbaric. i'd say come back to your spiritual home EVROPAN man, but i fear mutts are beyond salvaging, simply too much brain rot.

>>217877073I used to think this way then i realized people on the right are actually much less brainrotten than left. And probably celebrate christmas much more traditionally. The more performative you are the less honest.Happy holidays doesn't exclude christmas it includes both christmas and new year (by definition, else you wouldn't say happy holidayS)The most christian practicing people i met were the type to say happy holidays, same type who would go to midnight mass and even one invited poor people for christmas, one time he brought us a gypsy woman. Meanwhile people who autistically insist on "merry christmas" were all the most americanized, porn brained, cocainomaniac, hookers-going, permanently online, least catholic people that i have ever met.
>>217877302oh my rabbi so zased
>>217881241I am the last smart white anglo man in america. Everyone else is either mexican or their minds are enthralled by pakistani bot accounts.>>217881324The way americans both liberal and conservative understand "happy holidays" is its meant to be inclusive of holidays like hannukah and kwanzaa, etc. (the latter being a total meme yet which we still pretend is a thing), and it all just has the result of removing the name of christ from what is the main big holiday which is considered sacrilege. It's done in conjunction with "its all pagan" secularization campaigns, so its not like its not obvious. The "happy holidays = christmas + new years" is a way to run cover if you call it out, but everyone knows secular libs push it.
>>217877073God Jul :)
>>217877073we say christ has risen and the other responds with truly he has risen and we celebrate it next week because we use the julian calendar for holidays.
>>217881772wouldnt that be for easter doe
>>217881669Yeah i understand there is allegedly a left wing push to erase the word christmas, in practice with most leftists i don't see it but i can see it from their politicians. I get the intent to insist upon it but it does often come off a bit forced however. And to be fair here too a lot of practicing Christians are bound to say this at least for Hanukka (we don't have kwanzaa) but practicing christians are bound i think by nature to have a leftist bias. I'm right wing and atheist so i understand this is a minority opinion (well in france not that much but in usa i can imagine) but i'm always kind of wary of christians politically. But on the topic of christmas i think it is their business to do it how they like.
