>>217934710id go to rishion lezion and see the actual first rishon lezion flagthere are many events and in israel from those times have become mythological over the years. people that have streets named after them and such. id want to meet them in person.also actually hear the hebrew of back then and contrast it to the hebrew of today
>>217935298Were there jews speaking hebrew in palestine in 1800s?
Where I live it's probably still heya hoyas and peace pipes
Slavery and executions
>>217935397what's palestine?im tlaking about going back to the 1800s in israel we could even use my history/tech knowledge to overthrow the turk occupation and get independence earlier
>>217935419>Slavery and executionswhy?
>>217934710It's a massive farm, on the outskirts of town. My town had 12k people then, now it's at 33k, my street didn't existed then., built in the 70's
>>217934710This.
>>217935454>what's palestine? That's the name of the country, the natives are called Palestinians.
>>217935969never been there>>217935959architecture looks dope nglstreet probably smells like shit tho
>>217935959Nice, looks very crowded. My shithole for comparison.
>>217934710Jungles, wooden houses with palm thatched roof, no running water, electricity and roads except in British built towns etc etc. We basically leapt from Medieval to modern era in the 1990s. We were one of the first ASEAN nations to have the internet and online banking.
>>217936017Looks cozy. Like an Italian village, but a little different architecture.
>>217934710My house minus the modern furniture and stuff. Other than that, same shit. Same countryside outside.
1885 rishon lezion flag, first version of what would become the current flag (a recreation of it at least) that was flown in an israeli city.i know where it's flown and who did it i would have liked to see the original and figure out what happened to it. its an extremely iconic historic event /artifact like the eilat ink flag from the war of independence
>>217936120Looks like home to me
>>217934710Horsies and people wearing funny hats
>>217935959that's in the early 1900s, stick to the right century
>>217935959This image is from the 1900's.
>>217936246>>217936284Nope! 1895, and then upscaled and colorized.
>>217936246crazy how small SP was in 1800s.>>217936224looks clean and civilized, unlike my country.
>>217936246>>217936395roughly the same view in 2021, the arrow I drew points to the chapel on the center of the previous view
>>217936395that's 1915, stick to the right century
>>217934710Time to convince bolivar to let me join him in his quest to kill subhuman spaniards, arrived just in time.
>>217936496That's def not 1915, the opened a avenue on the side of that hill in early 1900s.
Slaving away in a plantation for Senor Manolo (who is Mexican btw)Senor Manolo punched Senor Panchito (who is the local Spanish bailiff) and left the land title to me as a final fuck youSenor Panchito was nice enough to let me keep the land as long as I keep the farms running
>>217936583sounds like the plot of a mexican telenovela
>>217936571the source of your pic says otherwise
>>217936677does it? anyways here's a pic in 1890s
>>217934710Simple minded peasants, between brown and white. Unironically one of my family members who lived in that part of Otuzco for a really long time said that a branch of us is a direct descendant of Hernan Cortez. That kinda explains why some old folk told us that our greatgreatgrandmothers were payllas (courtesans) of the local chieftain.
>>217934710I suppose my area was mostly farms back then. There were a few skirmishes here during the Civil War, but nothing memorable.
>>217936716Don't get me wrong those simple minded peasants are like me. God willing, I have feelings for that life.
>>217934710Nothing.
>>217934710
>>217935397Pp didn't answer your question but I will. When Israel was being settled, lots of languages poured into the region: French, Italian, Russian, English, etc. the first modern day person to speak Hebrew as a first language was Eliezer Ben Yehuda's son and that was in the mid to late 1800s.No, that doesn't mean that people didn't speak Hebrew, just that it wasn't a first language to anyone. So you had people speaking in different accents, using different vocabulary, etc. but a lot of times it was just simpler to speak in English or Russian or whatever depending on who you spoke to.
>>217935959Everyone back then (western nations) was better dressed. Now everyone dresses like a slob even if they're well off. Also 1900s not 1800s.
>>217934710Nature in its primeval state, several nomadic camps and eternal war with neighbors and other tribes
>>217934710A lot of drunken peasants and coal miners in my cunt.
A picture from 1896 apparently.
>>217934710West don't look like that
>>217938131Brazilian sinházinhas (BBC sorceresses) did look like that in 1800s.
>>217937791>several nomadic camps and eternal war with neighbors and other tribesbased turkicbros
