Previously that was in our house before the ISP upgraded us to a new router with Wifi 6. That router is enough to cover that house and blast out the signal to all the adjacent houses too. Since the 5ghz signal is not perfect the speeds are not actually that high on that network.

sorry I can't follow the wifi conversation because I never had experience like that because you can get free wifi here everywhere (the free wifi means they throttle the speed though). can't you just make it to have time limits, quota per day and made them pay (on screen when they try to connect and via hotspot)? it'll train them to be responsible and those who actually addicted will pay for it and those who don't will be filtered naturally.

In this case the 2.4ghz vs 5ghz isn't that much better. Same speeds and similar signal penetration. It's weakened outside of our house then way worse when you step inside of the other house. Being next to the window is the only hope. There it's basically the same as being outside so the CPE510 would get a very similar result.

The piso wifi is something that is very much a thing here. I want to install one next year but I will also want to get really strong antennas so it can reach to the basketball court and other surrounding areas so they aren't just sitting at our gate.
