Do people unironically do this iyc?
Do you plan on drawing/writing in the future?

I remember a while ago an Albanian anon >>207080236 shared how he is/was writing a novel.

I think what he's saying is you want to corrupt children with jewish propaganda

Based but i mean he would be better at killing them

This mentality is why faggots have taken complete control of artistic production in Western countries.

All great authors got inspiration for their stories from their real lives. My life is boring as shit so I'll probably never write anything, not anything good at least

I do this with music even though I'm terrible at it. I like very technical music that I'm just not capable of executing myself

I entertain the notion of writing sometimes but I don't really have any ideas deserving of being put on paper. Maybe I should do some autistically researched historical fiction. o algo
>>
>>218088526
I started some time ago unironically
>>
>>218088526
I wrote when I was a kid
Then as a teen I did a few national novel writing month 50k stories
One I wrote in Shakespearian rhyme and meter and as if one of his "fairy stories"
Then the website got even more overtly obnoxiously trooned and I left
I write poems sometimes just for my own amusement or as the mood strikes me
Sometimes I'll do sketch exercises for a week or two every few years
I don't really enjoy drawing and I'm too good at writing to write something interesting for the coomer masses
Every time I try to start a coomer story catered to their weird sexual hangups I get lost building a fascinating world, I can't help it
>>
>>218089050
Autistically researched historical fiction is incredibly fun and good for you. It also makes you a more interesting person because then you can talk about your area of research and people think you're smart.
I've written stories set in revolutionary Russia and the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, and will be working on one about 1935 Germany next.
>>
>>218089221
The only time I ever did historical research for writing was I was going to write a story about a newlywed couple who find they have the power to raise the souls of the dead through some sort of seance thing in the Catacombs not long after they were built, and then have to travel with one of the ghosts around rural France to find her lost love who was buried elsewhere.
I never ended up writing it though, lost interest.
>>
>>218088526
I drew as a kid and teenager, then gave it up. Last year I got back into it, but my skills declined, and I was irritated and inconsistent because of it. This year I'm taking it seriously. Maybe I'll be a mangaka by the time I'm forty.
>>
>>218089344
Sounds pretty cool, pity you stopped. But yeah, you need to be actively interested in the project, no point forcing yourself.
>>
>>218089418
I never truly started kek
I have thought of dozens, or hundreds, of involved stories and worlds, scifi, fantasy, surreal, alien, subterranean, superpowers, everything. But the world is so fake and gay now I don't feel like writing or publishing kek. I was going to publish back when KDP was newer but I couldn't bear to work with the company with their tranny advertising and so on. I have lots of game ideas too and know how to code reasonably well but I can't bear to sell through Steam with all the pedoslop on the store. I'm just too moral-avoidant-schizo to want to bring any of my stories to the masses...it's a waste, because I'm really not insecure about my creativity like so many writers are.
>>
>>218088526
I wrote a short book on Syria once, ended up having to self-publish it. At that time I was in a totally different head-space though, now I’m on a tight-rope just trying to survive my stressful job and never want to sit down at my computer and write/make maps.

I will return though. I have the date I started writing that book written in surgical ink on the underside of my wrist in small block letters where only I can see as a reminder.
>>
>>218088526
I wanted to write but I realized I'm a boring retard and even if I tried to come up with something it would only be rightfully treated as nonsensical, uninteresting and derivative garbage

I bought a notebook for drawing. I commute about 40 minutes or so to work so I have about an hour and a half worth of train time I could use to draw. It beats fucking around on my phone and I would have something to show for it.

Have you ever looked at a list of best-selling books? Nonsensical, uninteresting and derivative garbage sells like hotcakes.

I draw huge tits often
>>
>>218090504
I did the same but pussied out on actually using the sketchbook, so I instead spent another $19 CAD on blank paper and practiced Fun With a Pencil with that instead of the sketchbook.
(I'll use it one day when I'm good enough)
>>
>>218092066
I also bought some sketchbooks but only drew on couple first pages because it feels wasteful and I use cheap printing paper instead

Has anyone practiced with the Draw a Box course? I am completely unhappy with my drawings and these are for free
>>218093312
There is nothing more European, white, Occidental or Western than expressing oneself artistically and through craftsmanship.
>>218093346
I disagree. There is a demand for (neo) pulp fiction in the form of fan fiction or Japanese light novels. On the one hand, many of these stories are weak, although there may be some gems, or simply things that are pleasant to read; on the other hand, high literature seems increasingly pretentious to people
>>218092828
But I have the impression that they don't create. Usually, when men write, it's in less cozy settings

I won't lie, the whole AI thing bothers me a bit. Especially since I'm a beginner. Some masters can just ignore the whole thing; they've had 20 or 30 years to prepare to compete with AI. I won't make money from it, but I have this feeling what's the point if I don't create anything valuable and above average, only more time-consuming hand-made slop
>>218094435
I just have to lock in with a good plan. I want to grasp how things are constructed
>>218095025
Idk, thinking in 3D and then drawing in 2D seems easier for me
>>218099189
Also dancing, showering, cooking, sewing. This does not change the fact that men have always had to be able to do it at least a little bit, and they have also found fulfillment in it

Giving up because of AIslop will just further speed up the enshitification of the internet. We need real people making real art now more than ever, otherwise all that will be left is the Jeets and their AI. Keep at it anon, I'm proud of you for even trying.
>>
>>218088526
I fell in love with photography and go around taking pics I like, then edit them in Lightroom.

I've slowly gotten the hang of it, but there's still a lot to learn. The other issue is I don't want to have my gear stolen which greatly limits photo opps in this cunt, kinda considering getting a cheaper disposable camera to take everywhere with me.
>>
>>218103863
>We need real people making real art
Yes, If only I knew how to create art. Even if I ever perfect the technique (not that it happened quickly, my drawings from 10 years ago look better than my current shit), true art lies somewhere beyond pure craftsmanship. That's quite a gamble. To train for years only to find out that you won't achieve anything in that field. Anyway, thanks anon for your good words, I'm gonna keep trying
