What are some thing you can no longer afford in your country?
>>218165486Coffee. It got extremely expensive here for reasons I don't know about
>>218165486Well, ever since I started working my salary has only gone up, so there's no shch thing that I can no longer afford
>>218165515Can you afford a Ferrari? Well...
>>218165524Was there a time in my life I could afford one? Do you understand the meaning of "no longer"?
>>218165508Coffee price here increased like crazy too. Weird when we are among the biggest coffee export
Nothing really, i live a very simple life all things considered. I think my total expenditure, not counting the extra i throw into savings, is like 1600-1700 euro equivalent a monthI can comfortably afford all the things i need
>>218165486to be silent
>>218165548>>218165515What if you compare yourself to previous generations? Your father or uncle for example. My uncle has a second home, and when he began a relationship with my aunt they together now have 4 homes total.
>beef>chocolate>smoked pork steaks>parmezan>lamb>bacon
>>218165566Well, in that case I can no longer afford real estate (I actually can, but I would need to finance it with 30 year span)
A house where I want or further away from it. I'm renting a nice one.
for a while potatoes got really expensive at my local aldi.the prices have only recovered last week after maybe 4-5 months.
>>218165785That's not normal, there is a potato surplus right now, and has been for at least 6 months. In the Netherlands you pay 1 or 2 euro for a bag of 5 kilos. This is an advertisement from 3 months ago.
meat of course. and international snacks. even one a bag of m&m costs 150 TL.
>>218165486having kids
beef increased from 115kr kilo to 155kr kilo so I halve my meat intake.
>>218166164just steal that shit I did it all the time in middle school, just take the entire carton and walk out
lamborghinis
>>218165872In Austria you pay 3.99€/5kg for potatoes. The price gouging is unreal.
>>218165486no such thing
>>218166723What if you compare with your dad or uncle?
>>218165486Hope.
>>218166946Why not?
>>218166964Replacement migration seems unstoppable, 1/4 of spaniards have foreign origins, everything is getting more expensive without wages increasing, national debt is unpayable, it's impossible to be an entrepeneur due to taxes and ridiculous bureaucracy, socialists keep getting elected every time, we have become a service economy with barely any production, even our agrarian industry is being raped (thanks to the EU mostly), the country is divided in regional identities that hate each other, young people will never really get a retirement pension yet have to pay insane taxes into the people who are currently getting it, etc. etc.
>>218165486Gaming pc
>>218167066I think our only hope is starting a colony like Orania.
>>218165566much better than them. my grandparents had nothing, mom grew up driving a tractor or horse to the store. when she married dad they inherited that nothing and through hard work atleast bought a car so whe could get around but they where heavy in debt untill recently. they only got out of it by selling off some land. now i have 3 cars and my own house, no debt and work only now and then but still make more than they made combined.most posters here are at the age where their parents still live and they havent inherited their worth and land, but when you do you will be the guy with 4 homes.i have given up all inheritance for my nephew, i made my own fortune i dont need it, and he is better suited for the hard work of farming than me.
>>218166324bullshitthe poorest immigrants here have the most kids
>>218165548Same. I get €1600/month in permabux pension and I don't even spend all of it. Usually save 100-200 per month.
>>218165566>What if you compare yourself to previous generations? My grandparents were both dirt poor. My dad grew up in an old rickety apartment in a typical late 1800's industrial boom era apartment building with them and money was extremely tight throughout his entire childhood. My mom and dad has never had much money either. My two uncles were fishermen and basically earned as much as they could bring in each day which wasn't much as fishing was taken over by huge trawling boats. Uncle number 1 drank himself to death in 2004. Uncle number 2 lives in a one room apartment alone on basic pension (he's 77). So basically I'm the most well off (financially) person my family has seen in generations. With a basic ass office job.
>>218167464So your lineage will end with you
>>218167420No it's U-shaped, richest people have more kids than the poorest, and standard income have almost no kids
>>218169320No my both my sisters have already pumped out multiple kids. I'm an uncle many times over.
>>218168762But they had kids can you afford that?
>>218171742Easily. I got around €120k in the bank, I own my house (mortgage already paid) and no other loans. I already pay all the expenses for me and my gf and it's no problem.
>>218169380Any black ones?
I don't want much so I have no issue affording whatever I want
Rent is impossible now. Crazy high prices, need to make many times the rent and have perfect credit score too.
>>218171933Nope. All Swedes.
>>218165486genuine love of a woman
>>218165486Fish from the store. For some reason fish has gone up extremely much. Used to buy 1kg of frozen cod for like 129 kronor. Today it's 220kr/kg.. And that's cod. Stuff like salmon and other nicer fish has gone up even more. So my fish-intake has gone from 2-3 times per week to only 1-2 times per week in the summer. Once or twice per month in the winter when I can't fish for it myself.
>>218172399That sucks
in my country I couldn't fucking afford anything that's why I movedt. eastern euro
>>218165486I dont know, I think I can afford most things if were not talking about things like really expensive like property, cars, and all that.
cheese and meat which is stupid because it is one of our biggest exports but farmers earn more money selling it over seas so they up the prices for locals to incentivise farmers to sell to locals. Capitalism is broken
>>218173627If you can't afford a car things are pretty bad
Cocaine
>>218165486anythingfuck fiat fuck inflation
>>218174106Average new car is like €25000 and above in this country and my salary is like €2500, and I have no license and I dont know the rules. I dont see the point of restricting myself to save money for a car that I wouldn't even enjoy because few times I drove a car were not pleasant.
