Continent definition is an entirely subjective thing that changes from country to country. For instance I've been taught that the Middle East is its own continent too. If you really want to go down that route, Africa should also be part of this Eurasian continent since it's connected to it (well there's a canal now but this was a recent change and it can still be crossed by foot), Australia should be part of Asia as well since otherwise why do they get to be their own continent but not other big islands like Madagascar, Greenland, etc? So you'd have America and Eurasiafricaceania
