What if we imported like a million hindus to build a colossal open air cobalt mine and sold it to the Us to become a superpower but then just let them die like the french in haiti

What if we imported american military advisors and modernized/reformed our military and wiped out the cartels

What if we invited chinese megacorporations to replace all our economic ties to the US simultaneously to all this

What if instead of bitching about american culture we actually nurtured a native media industry and showed the world all that ancient culture and rich heritage we cope about

What if we stopped being performatively religious and actually did our best to establish the kingdom of God

Indians, even the dumbest, stupidest indians in the country would easily be able to outcompete mexicans

the richest mexican will be an Indian within a decade, all your elites will be Indians, the popular language among your elite courts will be Hindi within two decades, your proles will be consuming Indian media for the next century

Idk about that first one.

There's latent socialist sentiment in Mexico that is very paranoid about military juntas even if it means being subordinate to a literal drug cartel. Bureaucrats will go to any length to retain power from what I understand of history.

You could replace all US ties without China. Mexico doesn't lack self-sufficiency, maybe if China accepted developed status and opened up as a market Mexico could decouple from the US and just sell to Chinese markets.

That's what the US wanted originally. They wanted to sell film equipment and studios, not export culture. The only time the US starts exporting media is when they want other countries to adopt interest in things like video games or the Internet. I don't think the US really exports much media anymore most of the relevant media stopped around the 2000s.

Kingdom of God is mostly a prottie thing, you're not performatively religious if you believe in the papacy. Mexico isn't New Spain anymore and clinging to Catholicism is going to make the Spanish empire send a delegation to run your country idk why people in Latam still cling to religion at all.
